We are looking for a driven and innovative Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Azure focus) to design, build, and evolve modern applications and integrations in a cloud-first environment. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping a robust, scalable, and future-proof application and integration architecture.

What You Will Do

You’ll help build the digital future of cargo rail — making freight transport smarter, more reliable, and more sustainable. Your work will directly improve day-to-day operations, enabling faster decisions, smoother workflows, and better tools for frontline teams. You’ll collaborate closely with the business to turn real operational needs into scalable applications and integrations that create measurable value. Together, we’ll modernize rail freight across Scandinavia and Europe with cloud-first technology, secure architecture, and a bold, forward-looking mindset.

Main tasks:

Own and further develop our application and integration architecture for moder solutions with a focus on Azure.

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications (mobile/web) and their backend services.

Build frontend in Flutter/Dart with strong UX focus, robustness, and reusable components.

Build backend in C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core) including REST API design, authentication/authorization, and integrations.

Implement serverless and PaaS solutions in Azure:

Azure Functions, Azure App Service / Web Apps

Design and implement storage and data access:

Blob Storage

SQL/NoSQL databases

Establish and manage integration patterns and platform services using Azure Integration Platform:

API Management, Service Bus, Event Hub, Logic Apps

Set and follow best practices for CI/CD, code standards, documentation, testing, and release management using Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts).

Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep (environments, resources, policies, configuration).

Ensure security and compliance by design (Zero Trust, GDPR, ISO 27001):

Entra ID (Azure AD), Managed Identities, Key Vault, RBAC, Private Endpoints

Ensure observability and operational excellence (logging, tracing, monitoring, incident handling, continuous improvement).

Contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, mentoring, and improving engineering processes.

Collaborate closely with our Senior Data Engineer on data modelling, pipelines, storage choices, and efficient use of the data platform.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who enjoys building from the ground up and combining hands-on engineering with architectural ownership. Since our IT team is small, it is essential that you are self-driven, proactive, and take full ownership of your solutions. You work well both independently and collaboratively, communicate clearly, and can explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience and Skills

Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining modern cloud solutions.

Strong experience with Flutter/Dart for mobile development.

Very good experience in C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core).

Experience with Azure-based architecture using serverless and PaaS (Functions, App Service / Web Apps).

Experience with Blob Storage, SQL/NoSQL, and

Building well-structured RESTful APIs.

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts) and CI/CD.

Experience with IaC using Bicep.

Solid understanding of security and compliance principles: Zero Trust, GDPR, ISO 27001.

Experience in Azure identity and access: Entra ID, PIM, Managed Identities, Key Vault, RBAC, Private Endpoints.

Experience with integration platform services: API Management, Service Bus, Event Hub, Logic Apps.

Ability to collaborate tightly with data functions (modelling/pipelines/storage choices) together with a Senior Data Engineer.
Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required.

Nice-to-have

Power Platform (Dataverse, Power Automate).

Jira plugin development (preferably Atlassian Forge with Node/TypeScript).

Azure Networking.

App performance optimization.

React.

Containerized microservices.
Swedish is a plus.

This is a permanent position based at our head office in Danderyd, with the possibility of partial remote work. The Senior Full-Stack Engineer reports to the CIO. We apply a six-month probationary period.
